The Structure of the
International Centre for
Circassian Studies (ICCS)
The
International Centre for Circassian Studies (ICCS) shall be governed by a board
of trustees consisting of seven persons. The ICCS Board of Trustees is tasked
with formalizing the policies and aims of the Centre, and supervising the
implementation of its short-, medium- and long-term goals.
The management of the ICCS is effected by the Director General, who is appointed by the Board of Trustees. The Director's principal responsibility shall be the implementation of the policies and goals of the Centre set out by the Board of Trustees. The Director General is assisted by a number of technical and administrative consultants and employees.
The ICCS consists of a number of departments:
- Circassian Language & Literature.
- Circassian Culture.
- Circassian Folklore.
- Publication & Distribution.
- Translation.
- Archives.
